Magnificent farmhouse from the XVII-XIX centuries, between town and countryside, the Bocage Norman museum welcomes you in an exceptional natural setting of 12 hectares. The old farm Boisjugan, turned into a museum, tells the secrets of the Normandy farmland from the 1800s to the present day. How did the farms of yesteryear work? What are the peculiarities of the famous Norman Bocage ? How do you make the butter that made the fortune of our departement?
Immerse yourself in the heart of the rural world and soak up the atmosphere of a stable, a barn, a workshop and a butter factory reconstituted life size ... And visit the animals farm that s' install at the museum for the summer!
The museum is set up as follows: 3 exhibition levels 116 graphic media, nearly 1,000 exhibits over 800 m2 of exhibition devoted to the work of the soil, equine and cattle breeding and interior reconstructions.
